To date, I am a participant of the project focused on
development of Web application, S-Consult Company (С-Консалт).
This company has entered into an agreement with the
government of St. Petersburg for the creation of electronic
document workflow management systems for such gov-companies as:
Heat and Energy Complex of St. Petereburg (ГУП
ТЭК), Water Utility
(ГУП Водоканал),
Computing Center of Utility Payments (ГУП
ВЦКП). My main goal
is to develop a code that supports business processes of
electronic documents (life-cycles management of documents).
Also soon Ill be involved in build up of the module for
digitizing paper documents, where I want to apply my
knowledge (practices) in the fields of data analysis and
graphic images recognition.

This project
was developed for a row of cinemas in Moscow. The main idea
lies in creating of editor, which provides functions to
compound various visual components to further display on the
plasma TV in cinemas. Component model contains pictures,
animation, video clips, text, which can be moved, stretched,
rotated, redrawn etc. in the editor. Thus, the operator
obtains the ability to acquire the necessary design of his
announce. After the creation of announcement, it is
broadcasted on the screens through network protocol.
I was involved
in this project as a system architect, my additional task
included development of low-level image processing
functions, for example, image format conversion,
creating visual effects for components (shadows, outlines,
transparency).

TraceX is an
automated vectorization system that was implemented to
provide raster to vector conversion of engineer drawings.
Based on the elements of pattern recognition it preserves
the integrity of original topology. Export in DXF format
provides the subsequent opening by CAD integrated systems
such as AutoCAD,
Компас
and any other environment that supports
this format. Recognized objects can be easily modified or
manipulated in CAD system. TraceX requires pre-defined image
scanning resolution and conformity with the engineer
drawing standards (см.
ГОСТ).
This project has been tested by Arkhangelsk Maritime River
Shipping Company for digitizing their engineer paperwork.
