My name is Stanislav V. Moskalenko (Москаленко Станислав Владимирович).

Professionally, my desire is to make a contribution to the sphere of knowledge in Machine Learning and Image Recognition. My areas of interest include -

• raster to vector conversion, vectorization algorithms;

• machine understanding of images and human drawings;

• document analysis;

• picture quality enhancement, noise reduction.

• graph matching detection

My current research project is to develop methods for recognition of document images, study the probabilistic and statistical aspects of figure representation observed in engineer documents and human drawings.

• presently enrolled in a Ph. D. program in Computer Systems Design Dept. at University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (St. Petersburg, Jul 2007� present);

• a degree in Information Systems and Technologies from Archangelsk State Technical University (ASTU) (2001 - 2006), equivalent to Master�s, with honors,                                                                          GPA (Grade point average) 4.8 of 5.0 possible

• 2 year course of extra classes in advanced English at British Centre of ASTU. reference

• And here are computer languages: Java, C++, Object Pascal (Delphi) and even x86 Assembler;

• I like reading science works in English;
